English cricketers go on a shopping spree in Mohali

Much to the delight of locals members of the England Cricket team went on a shopping spree in Chandigarh.

Members of the England Cricket team went on a shopping spree in Chandigarh on Wednesday evening. The players are in the city for their second test against India to be played at Mohali on December 19.

Taking a break from their practice session, the players decided to unwind by indulging in shopping at Chandigarh.

Accompanied by police personnel, the players browsed through the shops and checked out the merchandise to their heart’s content, much to the locals’ delight who gathered at the market to watch their cricketing heroes.

People peeped in through the shop windows, trying to click pictures of the players as they went around shopping. Some of the players also obliged their fans by signing their autographs.

England is hoping to avoid their second consecutive series defeat after the 2-1 home loss to South Africa.
