CHANDIGARH, May 27: Officiating IGP Asad Farooqui has ordered the transfers and postings of a few inspectors and sub-inspectors.
Manimajra Station House Officer SHOs Om Parkash has been transferred to VIP security while Police Station South SHO Nanhe Ram goes to Manimajra PS as SHO. Hardev Singh who was in VIP security will be SHO of Police Station South. Inspector K.I.P. Singh, who was with Airport security, has been transferred to the Economic Offences Wing while Mani Ram Kadian has been shifted to Airport security from Anti-Auto Theft Cell. SI Ved Prakash, who was recently reinstated, goes as in-charge of police post at Inter-State Bus Terminus, Sector 17, in place of Raghbir Singh who has been moved to the Railway Station police post.
Yash Pal, who was with Railway Station PP goes to Police Station, Sector 11.

Former District Bar Association President Thakur Kartar Singh has been nominated Regional Chairman of region IX of Lion8217;s International district 321-F for the year 1999-2000 for the area of Chandigarh and Ropar by District Governor elect P.K. Kohli.
