NEW DELHI, June 15: Timarpur scored a thumping 3-0 victory over Young Sports Club in the inaugural match of DSA-SAIL B Division Football Championships at Ambedkar Stadium here today. The teams were locked goalless at the interval.
Timarpur took the lead through Yatender Singh in the 45th minute while Anand Singh 55th and Vikram Tama 58th completed the tally.
In an A division match, Indian Air Force Palam earned full points in their match against Garhwal Diamond whom they defeated 2-0. The one-sided match saw Adhikari put their team ahead in the 10th minute while Jatti consolidated the lead in the dying minutes.
