CANTERBURY, ENGLAND, OCT 6: Indian batsman Rahul Dravid, leading run-scorer at this year's cricket World Cup, will join Kent next season as their overseas player. The county said on Wednesday that Dravid, 26, had signed a one-year contract and replaces Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds.``The arrival of Rahul Dravid to enhance our batting is a major boost,'' said Kent coach John Wright. ``Next season sees some of the world's best spinners in the first division of both the championship and the National league and it is great news to have a batsman of Dravid's class in the team,'' he added.Kent, fifth in this year's championship, also announced that Matthew Fleming had been reappointed captain for 2000.
