Don146;t visit Valley, BJP to tourists

BJP8217;s Jammu and Kashmir unit advised tourists on Monday not to visit Kashmir valley in view of attacks on pilgrims visiting Amarnath. 8220;As a responsible party, we will advise tourists not to visit the Valley,8221; leaders of BJP unit said here.

Former state BJP president and a member of the national executive Nirmal Singh said, 8220;One pilgrim died in a grenade attack in Gulmarg on Sunday; others escaped when grenades were hurled at their vehicle at Ganderbal while they were returning to Srinagar from Baltal.8221;

8220;The continuous attacks on pilgrims in the Valley would affect tourists8217; inflow and it is not a good sign for the state,8221; BJP8217;s state vice-president and spokesperson Hari Om said.
