Dist receives heavy rains

The rains also led to delay in landing of an Indian Airlines flight around 8.40 am, besides disrupting vehicular traffic in various parts of the city. Many low-laying areas of city remained water-logged since the past several days due to the rains. No untowards incidents was reported in the district.

According to official information, Jetpurpavi had 33 mm 548 mm, Dabhoi, 7 mm 840 mm, Chhotaudepur, 3 408 mm, Naswadi, 66 mm 441 mm, Padra, 4 mm 232 mm, Baroda 36.6 mm 2.2 later during the day, 617 mm, Vaghodia, 63 mm, 674 mm, Savli, 24 mm 591 mm, Sinnor 5 mm 526 mm, Sankheda 86 mm 546 mm, and Kwant, 13 mm 337 mm.
