
BANGALORE, OCT 21: Digital Equipment India Ltd, has reported Rs 13.42 crore net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2000 as compared to Rs 7.5 crore in the corresponding period last year and Rs 5.78 crore in the previous sequential quarter.
The total revenues for the quarter were Rs 43.3 crore, an 86 per cent growth in revenues as compared to Rs 25.8 crore in the corresponding period last year. The total revenues in the previous sequential quarter stood at Rs 32.6 crore.
PSI Data Systems is a subsidiary of the Groupe Bull of France that holds 50.35 per cent of equity of the company. Groupe Bull Executive Vice President Alain Zeitoun who took over as the Chairman of PSI said the visibility of PSI in the Bull world has increased tremendously with several new initiatives in the pipeline. quot;The proportion of business done with PSI is expected to rise from the current level of 25 per cent to 35 per cent of the total revenue of the Groupe Bull,quot; Zeitoun said.
