
PANCHKULA, Sept 24: Our main aim is to serve humanity and help the needy and that is the idea behind the Charitable Diagnostic Centre, said Dr Naresh Mittal, general secretary of the Panchkula Welfare Trust, a voluntary organisation, while addressing mediapersons here today. The diagnostic centre, that will start functioning from September 26 of this month, is a venture of this trust.
Giving details about the services available at the centre, Mittal said in the first phase, they have installed latest ultrasound machinery, auto analyser and have also set up a laboratory. He said to maintain the quality, the centre has appointed well-qualified and experienced staff. He said the Centre has proposed to take up the development in different phases. The second phase consists of Cancer Detection Centre, the third phase will constitute CT Scan/MRI etc and the final phase will have Endoscopy/Angiography etc.
The distinguishing features of this diagnostic centre will be reasonable rates on no profit, no loss basis and the poor will be provided free services. The diagnostic centre will operate from 855, N.A.C, Chandigarh-Kalka highway.
