Sunil Dev, sports secretary of Delhi and District Cricket Association DDCA, will be Team India8217;s administrative manager for the ICC Twenty20 World Cup, beginning in South Africa from September 11.
In a communique to the DDCA today, Board of Control for Cricket in India chief administrative officer, Ratnakar Shetty, named Dev for the job. Earlier, the BCCI had appointed Lalchand Rajput, who was the coach of the under-19 Indian squad in Sri Lanka, as the cricket manager.

Incidentally, Dev was also the administrative manager when Team India visited South Africa in 1997. Dev told The Indian Express that it was a honour to be part of Team India.
