VADODARA, Aug 4: More than 20,000 students of city schools will be imparted education about dental health during a month-long Smiles for All 8212; National Oral Health Programme8217; beginning tomorrow.

Programme chief coordinator and Indian Dental Association Vadodara branch president Amish Mehta said on Tuesday that the children would also be given free dental packs, informative comics and brushing charts during the programme.

School teachers would also be imparted training about the do8217;s and dont8217;s of oral health, Mehta said, adding that a healthy teeth contest8217; 8212; featuring attractive prizes 8212; would be held among the children. Schools too would be given awards, according to Mehta.

Mayor Vyas would be the chief guest at the inaugural function at Bright Day School, VIP road, while Shah, MD Bright School and Choksi, chairman, Shramik Vidyapith, will be guests of honour. on the occasion, said the release.

The function is being sponsored by Colgate Palmolive India Limited, the release added.
