Delhi budget on schedule

NEW DELHI, MARCH 18: Quelling all speculations about the Congress Government8217;s unpreparedness to present the Budget on time, Speaker of the Delhi Assembly Prem Singh today announced that the Budget session will begin from March 22 as per schedule.

The House will be have 14 sittings in the three-week-long session. It will commence at 11 a.m. with the LG8217;s address.

Apart from the budget, the government is gearing up to tackle the DDA, water, electricity and MCD demolition issues 8212; all of which are likely to cause fireworks in Assembly.
