CBSE helpline
The CBSE helpline started last year is being extended to students in schools in the Gulf countries from June 1 to 15. Students in Delhi schools can contact counsellors at 6518485, 6856037, 7476619, 4671892 and 6137484.

Haj 2000
The Delhi Haj Committee started distribution of application forms for Haj 2000 on Wednesday. The forms can be obtained from the committee office at Turkman Gate. The last date for submitting the forms is July 15.

Calling scribes
The International Committee of the Red Cross and the The Times of India group are organising a contest for journalists on the theme Human Dignity in War8217; to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Geneva convention. The winning reporters and photo-journalists will be sent to cover issues in conflict zones like Afgha-nistan and Sri Lanka. The entries word limit of 1,000 for articles and 250 for photo captions should reach the organisers by June 8.
