National president of Dara Sena Mukesh Jain on Friday said Dara Singh, who was awarded death sentence in the Staines8217; murder case, will contest the Lok Sabha elections from Puri.

Jain said Dara Singh8217;s decision to contest 8216;8216;should not face any legal obstacles as his appeal challenging a lower court order awarding him capital punishment has been admitted by the Orissa High Court8217;8217;.

Dara will file his nomination from the jail on April 5 on the ticket of Hindu Mahasabha. He is housed at Cuttack Circle Jail, Choudwar.
