Dani, Negi ensure Chand Khanna win

Ashu Dani 11215;4, 108 balls and Navin Negi 3215;4, 1215;6, 68b made sure of Chand Khanna Club8217;s easy win with their century-plus stand for the second wicket. Despite a couple of run outs, they romped home winners with more than three overs remaining. Ashu Dani was declared the man of the match.

Two 50-plus partnerships for the fifth and sixth wickets, involving Ashish Sharma, Harish Kumar 21 and Rajeev Rathore 27, were the only redeeming features of D S Group8217;s fightback.

Akash Malhotra and Sohail Rauf were run out as Chand Khanna Club lost four wickets for the addition of only 25 runs. But Sunil Joshi 30: 2215;4 helped Dani add 84 runs for the unbroken sixth wicket to ensure the club8217;s smooth victory.
