MUMBAI, FEBRUARY 14: Rose XI, Sewri beat defending champions Colaba Young Stars by a solitary goal in the quarter-finals of the Don Bosco Challenge Cup seniors football tournament organised by DBYC, Kurla at the St Joseph8217;s ITI Ground, Kurla.

The match-winner was scored by Rajesh Rane off a corner shot taken by Roland Misquitta.

Rose now face Sainath in the semis who stunned Holy Family 4-1 in another quarter-final tie. Shankar Thakur, Johnny Dias, Mohammad Khan and Deepak Kharatmal netted a goal each.

Kirol Boys defeated Father Agnel Gymkhana 4-3, via tie-breaker to enter last four where they take on Rumania. Nitin Kotian, Dinesh D8217;Silva, Romeo Patel and Sanjay Kar scored for the winners while Ashwin Martis, Abraham Jacob and Santosh Shinde reduced the margin.
