Cheating case registered
Police have registered a case of cheating and defrauding under Sections 408, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code against three persons, Sector 23 resident Ashok Kumar, Sector 16 resident D D Mehta and Panchkula resident N D Sharma. The complaint was lodged by H S Mamik of Industrial Area, said police sources.

Computer printer stolen
Punjab University resident P. S. Jaswal has reported to the police that somebody has stolen his computer printer and a voltage stabiliser from his room.

Hit-and-run case
Nayagaon resident Ram Kewal was admitted to the PGI after she was reportedly hit by an unknown vehicle near Khuda Lahora.
