MUMBAI, July 27: Train services on both Western and Central Railway were disrupted this morning.

While a rail fracture between Chunabhatti and Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar stations at 6.45 am caused the disruption on CR, a technical failure between Mumbai Central and Charni Road stations held up the traffic for over 20 minutes on WR.

According to a WR spokesperson the train services were disrupted at about 11.15 am following the failure near the crossover points on the through lines.

As a result two Up trains and one Down train was held up and delayed, till the fault was rectified by 11.35 am.The trains were running behind schedule for about 20 minutes while the fault was being rectified. Some of the fast trains were diverted to the slow tracks.
