MUMBAI, Sept 7: Traffic on the slow track of the Central Railway CR suburban system towards Mumbai CST was disrupted for over three hours on Sunday afternoon when an overhead wire broke down between Kurla and Sion.

According to the railway police, the incident, which occurred at 12 pm, led to the closure of the track, and trains were diverted along the fast track. No fast trains were plied during that period. Traffic resumed at around 3.30 pm. Services were delayed by over 30 minutes as repairs were carried out. The slow track from CST had been closed for repairs.
