CPI, CPM for Dullo

SAS NAGAR, Sept 2: The Congress, CPI and CPM leaders urged voters to exercise their franchise in favour of Shamsher Singh Dullo, their parties8217; joint candidate for the Roopnagar reserved Lok Sabha seat.

Addressing an election rally in Phase VII of the township, the speakers claimed that the Congress would emerge as a major force after the election and would form the government at the Centre. They lambasted power-hungry Akalis for seeking support in the name of the Sikh panth with no aim other than capturing power.

Among the speakers were Parmjeet Kaur Sodhi, Harinder Pal Singh and Lakhwinder Kaur Garcha.
