Cop roughed up

Chandigarh, Sept 12: Two persons, Avinash and Manohar, allegedly roughed up a city police constable, Parminder here today. They have been arrested for assaulting him to deter him from performing his duty under Sections 332 and 353 of Indian Penal Code.

Parminder had intervened after the two in an intoxicated state, had assaulted a person in Sector 28. The constable8217;s uniform was torn off.
