The Congress today cleared former Union ministers Dhanushkodi Adithyan and Rampujan Patel along with 14 other candidates from Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

Adithyan is being fielded from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu. The Congress has now announced all seat for Tamil Nadu. Patel, a former Union minister, is being fielded from Phulpur in UP, AICC general secretary Oscar Fernandes said in a statement today. The party has also cleared the name of Reena Chaudhary, the SP MP, from her constituency Mohanlalganj SC.
