BILASPUR, May 25: Concrete bridge over Ghamrola tributary would be constructed within six months on the national highway between Swarghat and Bilaspur and paucity of funds would not stand in its way as the Union Ministry of Surface Transport has promised to flow the requested funds, said state president of BJP Suresh Chandel, MP, after his having met the district level officers here today.

Chandel said survey of alternative route for national highway via Jakatkhan had been completed and he would take up the matter with the Minsitry of Surface Transport for getting necessary funds for it. He said he would take up the matter with the HUDCO for expediting release of funds for ambitious bridge at Gobind Sagar at Babkhal linking the remote area with Swarghat.

The BJP leader said he had directed the district administration to select site for setting up a Central school at Bilapsur within week. This school would be opened within this year. He also assured that he would ask the Railway Ministry and the Railway Board to get expedited construction work of broad gauge railway line from Bhanupli to Bilaspur. He said he had a proposal to open seed centre here.
