The Indian Cricket League (ICL) may be struggling in its endeavour to present top level cricketers — Brian Lara isn’t yet a confirmed entry and Mohammed Yousuf and others have opted out — but its television show is geared up for a good line-up.
The commentary section of the ICL has contracted six former cricketers, including former England skipper and veteran commentator Tony Greig, Dean Jones, South African Pat Symcox, former Australian pacers Jeffery Thomson and Mike Whitney, and ICL executive board chairman Kapil Dev, according to information reaching here.
Kapil said: “We have signed on some of the world’s best commentators and their vast cricketing experience will add a lot of value.”
