Chief Minister inaugurates cleanliness drive

NEW DELHI, June 2: Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma inaugurated the month-long cleanliness drive organised by the MCD and NDMC at Connaught Place on Tuesday.

Congratulating the employees, he said instead of having a month-long campaign, the civic bodies should work throughout the year and make the Capital an example for other cities.

Lt-Governor Vijay Kapoor, who was also present on the occasion, said the campaign should cover every corner of the city and should not be limited to just a few important roads and important spots.
