Milind Deora and Pooja Shetty8217;s high profile relationship of three years ended happily ever after; the two were married in a stylish and quiet ceremony on Sunday, at the Trident hotel in Mumbai. Union petroleum minister Murli Deora, along with bridge pro wife Hema and younger son, popular deejay, Mukul and cinema exhibitor Manmohan Shetty with wife and younger daughter Aarti were the two families that are now one.

Pooja looked every bit the blushing bride in an orange sari by Anamika Khanna, while Milind, a parliamentarian himself, wore a dapper copper sherwani. Among the glittering guests were Mukesh and Nita Ambani, Laxmi Mittal, Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor. The menu boasted of a mix of Indian and Continental fare. Tandoori Bharwal Aloo Lawabdar and Boccacini caps, Sweet pepper salsa in wild cress was the pick of the lot. The occasion ended on a very sweet note with a delicious helping of a Lemongrass cheesecake.

Bummer Milind8217;s close buddy and fellow Congressman Rahul Gandhi was MIA after rumours of him attending the ceremony made the rounds.
