35 shot dead by militants in Chamba In their first-ever major strike in Himachal Pradesh, suspected Pakistan-trained Kashmiri militants today massacred 35 persons, mostly labourers, and injured 11 others in two incidents in Tissa area of Chamba District bordering Jammu and Kashmir. No militant organisation has so far claimed responsibility. The killings took place early this morning.
