PUNE, Oct 25: The city-based Srichakra Jewels Pvt Ltd has launched the first CD-Rom on gems for the Indian and international markets.
The CD-ROM aims at providing information on alternative therapies through gem therapy, chairman R Soundarrajan said. According to him, the powers and flow of energy happens between two contacts of material formation and maintained that the flow of energy was from a higher potential to lower potential as a natural rule due to universal magnetism.
The hour long CD-ROM is divided into eight modules with an attempt to bring out these facts by means of animation and photographs. Introduction to gems forms the first module while astral aspects dealing with super consciousness, Maya, Universal magnetism and panchamahabhootas form the second module. The CD-ROM was originally conceived as a video cassette and the rights of this cassette were sold to Sun TV. Later the company decided to launch a CD-ROM to address a larger audience. Priced at Rs. 1,495, around 6,000 CDs have been sold so far. Of these, 70 per cent have been exports.
Enthused by the response to the first CD-ROM, the company has planned to launch nine separate CD-ROMs on the nine gems under the aegis of Srichakra gems.
