MUMBAI, JUNE 19: Annualised carryforward rates on the Bombay Stock Exchange BSE hovered in the range of 14-15 per cent, went up to touch an intra-day high of 15 per cent, before settling at 14.5 per cent for the week ended June 18. The badla rates moved in the same range as of the previous week of 15.3 per cent annualised.

The net outstanding position on the BSE as on June 18 stood at Rs 1,050 crore marginally down from the previous weeks net outstanding of Rs 1,087 crore. quot;The markets will move on news from the border and political arena. Accordingly, the market will move in a narrow range and it will be difficult for the market to pierce the 4150 level where again there will be a lot of resistance owing to profit-bookingquot;, said a BSE broker.

Some of the stocks which attracted undha-badla were Atlas Copco, Cadbury8217;s, HLL, Larsen amp; Toubro, Tisco and ICICI. Stocks like United Phosphorous, BSES and Tata Power attracted book-closure undha badla. Atlas Copco attracted an undha badla of Rs 9 and a weightedaverage undha badla of Rs 2.50.
