VADODARA, May 9: In a bizarre incident, two brothers died in a family quarrel in Panibar village of Pavi-Jetpur taluka of the district on Friday afternoon.

According to police reports reaching here, Narsinh Naika Rathwa8217;s wife had returned to her parents, who stayed in the same village, following a quarrel with her husband. His elder brother Savji Rathwa50 persuaded him to go to his in-laws to console her and bring her back.

However, when Savji and Narsinh reached her house, Narsinh was beaten with slippers and driven away by his brother-in-law, who was furious over the treatment meted out to his sister.

Narsinh came back very angry and with his brother for having tendered wrong8217; advice which got him beaten up. In a fit of rage, he attacked Savji with a sharp object, killing him on the spot. The matter did not end there. Savji8217;s son Dilabhai Rathwa could not tolerate his father8217;s murder. Dilabhai killed his uncle and set his house afire.
