Ex-Jan Sangh leader dead
Former Jan Sangh leader from Maharashtra Wamanrao Parab died of heart attack on Sunday night. He was 68. He had a lion8217;s share in popularising the Bharatiya Jan Sangh in its earlier days and Bharatiya Janata Party BJP subsequently in Mumbai.
Presently, the operations to abandon the well are in progress as the task of drilling relief well has been accomplished and the rig Kedarnath deployed for this pupose will be moved away in 3-4 days time. The second relief well, which is under drilling now, to control the flow of gas from well no B-121-D will be completed in about 10 days and is expected that the fire on B-121 platform will be totally extinguished after the flow of gas from this sources also is stopped.
