Hundred of women attired in their bridal dresses loaded with jewellery converged on the historic Ridge Scandal-point.

It was a unique eve on The Mall when Shimla eves outnumbered the evening strollers. Even the newly weds were also present at various vintage points to join the 8220;Suhagans8221; of this hill capital to have the glimpse of the moon which usually emerges late in the evening behind the Jhakoo peaks.

Majority of women on The Mall were seen holding 8220;thalis8221; with burning deepaks8217; and other puja material.Local police has made elaborate arrangements to avert any untoward incident to keep the eve teasers at bay.
