MUMBAI, DEC 4: The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation is all set to execute the national Pulse Polio Immunisation Programme for the fourth successive year in Mumbai on December 6 this year and January 17 next year.
Mayor Nandu Satam said 6,632 centres and ten mobile centres have been set up to provide pulse polio drops to 10.5 lakh children. Each centre is managed by three BMC workers and volunteers, while the health officer from each ward will act as a nodal agency.
