MUMBAI: United Phosphorus has maintained the dividend at 30 per cent for the year ended March 1998. The total turnover and other receipts amounted to Rs 503.60 crore Rs 556.36 crore, but the net profit has dropped to Rs 22.22 crore from Rs 27.58 crore.
Ashapura
MUMBAI: Ashapura Minechem has recorded an increase in the net profit to Rs 815.97 lakh for 1997-98 from Rs 700.87 crore and declared a higher dividend of 30 per cent compared to 25 per cent in the previous year. Sales turnover and operational income was up by 12.09 per cent to Rs 6997.27 lakh, while profits before interest, depreciation and taxation amounted to Rs 1115.45 lakh Rs 1022.72 lakh.
Indian ShavingMUMBAI: The directors of Indian Shaving Products have hiked the dividend to 22 per cent for the year ended March 1998 from 17.5 per cent paid last year. On a total income of Rs 168.63 crore Rs 121.16 crore, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 12.91 crore against Rs 5.86crore.
German Remedies
MUMBAI: German Remedies has stepped up the dividend to 45 per cent for the year ended March 1998 from 30 per cent. On a turnover of Rs 167.28 crore Rs 145.05 crore, the company has earned a gross profit of Rs 30.02 crore Rs 19.33 crore and a net profit of Rs 20.82 crore against Rs 11.70 crore.
