Essar Oil skips dividend
MUMBAI: The net profit of Essar Oil in the fiscal 1997-98 has crashed to Rs 20.2 crore as compared to Rs 42.4 crore recorded in the same period of previous fiscal. The company has decided to skip the dividend for the fiscal 1997-98. The sales were down to Rs 204.5 crore as against Rs 211.2 crore recorded in the previous fiscal.

MUMBAI: FIIs continued to remain net sellers in the week to April 30. As per figures collated by Sebi, net FII outflow in the week to April 30 stood at Rs 40 crores in the equity section. The net FII outflow stood at Rs 108.40 crore in or 27.4 million in April. Gross FII purchases were Rs 1,284 crore in April while gross sales stood at Rs 1,392.4 crore.
