MUMBAI: The boards directors of Supreme Industries and Siltap Chemicals have recommended interim dividend of 50 per cent and 35 per cent respectively for the financial year 1999-2000.

MUMBAI: Emirates India International Exchange has opened its 10th branch in Fujairah Emirates of UAE. About 10,000 Indian expatriates in Fujairah and nearly Kalba town will now have full fledged exchange facility for remitting money to India through State Bank of India, State Bank of Travancore and State Bank of Hyderabad.

Essel Packaging

MUMBAI: Essel Packaging has declared an interim dividend of 54 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2000 against total dividend of the same percentage last year.The company has fixed May 2 as record date for the dividend. The outgo towards interim dividend would be Rs 8.20 crore.

Skylid Tele

MUMBAI: The income from operations Skylid Telecommunications during the year ended March 2000 amounted to Rs 13.22 crore. As against a loss of Rs 4.91 lakh during 1998-99, it has posted a net profit of Rs 3 crore. The company paid a third interim dividend of five per cent during the last quarter, thus taking the cumulative dividend payout for the year to 15 per cent.

MUMBAI: Sparsh Communications has successfully developed and implemented a mega infrastructure project for vehicle monitoring of the highways called quot;Highway Automation Systemquot;. It is a network of fully equipped communication kiosks linked by satellite through vast terminal. The owner can access this date by making a local call to the nearest kiosk or on to his PC. Two-way communication is possible through the HAS network and documents, messages etc.
