When he fell out with his South African partner Wesley Moodie a few days before the French Open kicked off earlier this year, Mahesh Bhupathi had admitted that 8220;it wasn8217;t the ideal situation to be in.8221; The Bangalorean had much the same to say after he and his German partner Alexander Waske were beaten in three hard fought sets by Frederic Niemeyer and Glenn Weiner in the opening round at Wimbledon.

And it seems that the Indian will have to make do with temporary partners for the rest of the year.

Talking to The Indian Express from London, Bhupathi said: 8220;No one8217;s available. So I8217;m going to try and mix and match for the rest of the year, and find a permanent partner next year.8221;

Meanwhile, Bhupathi who had partnered Frenchwoman Mary Pierce to lift the mixed doubles trophy at The Championships last year, didn8217;t sound very confident of defending his crown. Bhupathi who is partnering Chinese Zi Yan this time, said: 8220;We8217;ll try. We want to take it match by match.8221; The 11th seeded Indo-Chinese pair play their first match tomorrow.
