It seems leader of Opposition and former deputy chief minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal and former chief minister Capt Amarinder Singh are once again on the collision course.

Bhattal today made it clear that she will not take part in the mass contact programme, which the party has decided to postpone. On Amarinder taking the programme forward, she said, 8220;Nobody is above the party. This is not the right time for any party leader to give statements8230;one should go on the directions of the party. PPCC president Mohinder Kaypee has said that for the time being, mass contact programme has been postponed due to the youth Congress elections.8221;

Bhattal said, 8220;We should stop infighting, as other political parties benefit from it. I have no personal enmity with Amarinder. We need to together sit and chalk out a common strategy and programme after December 22.8221;

8220;As till date, the party has not announced candidates, one should not attend the rally of an aspiring candidate like Arvind Khanna from Sangrur,8221; she said.

Without naming Amarinder, Bhattal said, 8220;I do not play friendly matches with the Akali Dal. I have always played against them.8221;
