Bharathi Nrityanjali in Mysore

For the first time, Bharathi Nrityanjali, a unique Bharatnatyam recital based exclusively on Mahakavi Subramanya Bharathi8217;s works, was presented by senior artistes of the Sri Rajarajeswari Bharatanatya Kala mandir on Friday at the Mysore Association auditorium, Matunga. The dance recital was choreographed by Guru Kalaimamani K Kalyanasundaram.Hosted by the Bharathi Medical and Research Foundation to commemorate the 126th birth anniversary of the poet, the dance repertoire depicted select patriotic and devotional nbsp;songs and scenes from the immortal Panchali Sabdam.
