JALANDHAR, April 7: Suspended Akal Takht jathedar Ranjit Singh has summoned a meeting of the 41-member coordination panel constituted by him, for parallel celebrations of the tercentenary at his Amritsar residence tomorrow evening.

Stating this here today, panel member and Akali Dal Democratic president Kuldip Singh Wadala said that the meeting to be held at the official residence of Bhai Ranjit Singh at the Guru Ram Das complex at Amritsar, would give final touches to the preparations being made by the Sikh radicals for launching three Khalsa marches to Anandpur Sahib where they plan to organise their separate function on April 13 and 14.

Of the three Khalsa marches to be launched simultaneously from Amritsar, New Delhi and Talwandi Sabo on April 11, the one from Akal Takht was to be led by Bhai Ranjit Singh, while former Akal Takht jathedar Prof Darshan Singh would lead the march from New Delhi8217;s Rakabganj Gurdwara, whereas the march from Takht Damdama Sahib at Talwandi Sabo would be led by Bhai Jasvir Singh Rode, also a former Jathedar of the Takht and president of radical Akali Dal Panthic.

Besides, presidents of three radical Akali factions of Democratic, Amritsar and Panthic, Samajwadi Janata Party state president Darshan Singh Jiddan, Janata Dal national executive member Teja Singh Tiwana, Justice retd Kuldip Singh, president of World Sikh Council, Tohra-loyalist MP Prem Singh Chandumajra, former ministers Sukhjinder Singh and Major Singh Uboke, were among prominent members of the panel.
