CHENNAI, June 22: The new management of the city-based Best amp; Crompton Company Ltd is reported to have shown interest in taking over the ailing manufacturing facility of Premier Auto Electric PAE situated at Ambattur industrial estate here.

The Best amp; Crompton management8217;s interest comes in the wake PAE8217;s move to close down its only production unit which has sunk deep into red. It is gleaned from informed sources that PAE mandarins have already sought permission to close down the unit.
