Badminton team for Malaysia

BANGALORE, JUNE 29: A nine-member Indian team will participate in the Malaysian Open beginning at Kuala Lumpur from tomorrow.

The Malaysian Open, a five-star tournament with a prize money of 1,50,000 will conclude on July four. Later the team will participate in Thailand Open, a three-star tournament with a prize money of 80,000 to be played in Bangkok from July five to 11.

The team left for Kuala Lumpur on june 27.

The Team

Men: Gopichand, Nikhil Kanetkar and Jaseel Ismail IOC, Sachin Ratti Rlys, Vincent Lobo ONGC and Abhinn Shyam Gupta.

Women: Aparna Popat and Manjusha Kanwar IOC.
