
Getting back with old friends is always good, especially if it is after a span of 28 long years. Probably that8217;s the reason that at the reunion of the 1980 batch of Chandigarh College of Architecture people flew in from as far as US to participate. Each trying hard to recall roll numbers, cracking old jokes and at times remembering faces that had undergone a major change in all those years, 8220;I am coming to Chandigarh for the first time after completing my degree,8221; smiles Tanya Murgai Tanuja, who8217;s come all the way from Los Angeles for the meet. Discussing the canteen, the pranks and graduating their conversation to their present works and trends in architecture, amongst those present were Dr SS Bhatti, principal of the college then, Director of Architecture, Ministry of Defence, Ashwani, city-based architect Ajai Johal, Maitrey Gupta, who8217;s working with the Chandigarh Administration et al.
