Australia dominated the opening day of their two-day tour match against Zimbabwe A at the Zimbabwe Cricket Academy on Monday, matching their hosts score by the close of play for the loss of just one wicket.
Jason Gillespie claimed 4/25 as Zimbabwe A collapsed from 71/1 to 151 all out after captain Blessing Mahwire won the toss and elected to bat first on a lively pitch.
Australia were 151/1 in reply at stumps with Justin Langer unbeaten on 79 and captain Ricky Ponting one.
Langer and Matthew Hayden (61) had an opening partnership of 138 in just 118 minutes.
