Aussie missing, reward announced

Nine days after 33-year old Australian, Daniel Mount Whiton, went missing in the Parvati valley of Kullu district, his sister Daniela today announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for any clues to his whereabouts. Daniela, who has been camping at Kullu for the past few days, said she wouldn8217;t leave without her brother. 8216;8216;I hope he is safe and sound somewhere,8217;8217; she said, adding that she was sure her brother didn8217;t commit suicide.

Meanwhile, the local police today admitted that they had hit a deadend with helicopter searches in the Valley failing to yield any clues about the Aussie who disappeared mysteriously on August 2.
