Arrest PSI Kadam: Dalit Panthers

JANUARY 4: Over a hundred activists of Dalit Panthers of India staged demonstrations in front of Mantralaya this afternoon demanding immediate arrest and prosecution of the suspended SRPF police sub-inspector Manohar Kadam.

Led by founder president Namdeo Dhasal, the activists were also demanded that the real culprits behind desecration of Dr B R Ambedkar8217;s statue at Ramabai Nagar, Ghatkopar on July 11, 1997 be arrested and punished. The demonstrators denounced the alliance government for shielding PSI Kadam despite being indicted by the Justice S D Gundewar commission.
