Proving to be head and shoulders above their opponents Cathedral and Dhirubai Ambani, Army School, Colaba were emerged comfortable winners in the Schools Cup organized by the Western India Rugby Football Union at the Bombay Gymnkhana on Saturday.
Army School, Colaba first outplayed Cathedral 10-0, before routing Dhirubai Ambani 27-0 to emerge champions among the three schools while Cathedral then defeated Dhirubai Ambani 5-0 to take the runners-up slot.
In the Invitation Rugby 7s, Indian Possibles, led by National captain Nasser Hussain packed too much firepower for Indian Probables, winning 33-7. The Bowl Cup was won by Maharashtra State Police, who got the better of hosts Bombay Gymkhana 29-0.
