Army School, Colaba first outplayed Cathedral 10-0, before routing Dhirubai Ambani 27-0 to emerge champions among the three schools while Cathedral then defeated Dhirubai Ambani 5-0 to take the runners-up slot.
In the Invitation Rugby 7s, Indian Possibles, led by National captain Nasser Hussain packed too much firepower for Indian Probables, winning 33-7. The Bowl Cup was won by Maharashtra State Police, who got the better of hosts Bombay Gymkhana 29-0.
