And the Vinod8217; in the conversation is Cdr retd V K Chaudhury, representative of Crown Corporation in Moscow, the firm which is one of the principal suppliers of defence equipment to India.

HS: But tell me that he was asking questions they were only in relation to Moscow?

VP: Yeah. On your leave in Moscow, and where you stayed and what your leave application said, that kind of questions.

HS: Yeah, but I am sure that, what his intentions are. I have known them for very long and I don8217;t understand the8230;Vinod and I are so close, thick as thieves. Meena my wife and Shagun Mrs V K Chaudhury are like sisters, and he and I, even pre-NDA pre 1958 at that. And here the gentleman wants to look, obviously and I have nothing to do with any acquisition programme at all and in any case, Vinod does not look afteror to do anything with India. He is looking after the Mid-East, Syria, Algeria, etc.
