MUMBAI, Dec 13: Stability of a government is not the issue facing the nation today but its commitment to solve peoples’ problems, asserted H D Deve Gowda former prime minister in an apparent reference to the BJP’s stability plank for the coming elections. At a press meet here today he said the polls were likely to throw up another “coalition of political parties as no party was confident enough of getting a clear mandate”.

He said in the 44 years that the Congress ruled the country, it was “one party one rule” system and all the powers were concentrated at the Gandhi residence.
