TIRUCHIRAPPALLI, April 27: Tiruchirappalli district collector V Murthy has suggested that the Red Cross station ambulances at identified accident-prone spots on national highways. Such a step would greatly reduce fatalities, he said. Murthy was speaking at a five-day disaster preparedness workshop organised by the Red Cross Society.
