Sohail Khan is busy putting, even as Arbaaz looks on and Salman divides his attention between his mobile and the field. Surrounded by 20-odd men, the Khan family appear to be holidaying at the Royal Palms Golf Course, Goregaon. What with Sohail walking around barefoot, dressed only in shorts and a T-shirt 8212; surrounded by lush greenery with a small pond to the left. But the strategically placed camera with a few guys holding huge blinders suggest otherwise.

Shooting for their second home production Hello Brother, Sohail is mixing work with pleasure as he putts the ball repeatedly, simultaneously checking the focus on the monitor placed nearby. quot;It is a romantic comedy,quot; says Salman about his brother8217;s film. He8217;s sporting a pair of tight yellow jeans and an equally body-hugging white netted T-shirt, which shows off his much-talked about physique to an advantage. quot;And we are not playing brothers,quot; adds Arbaaz, who plays a cop in the movie.

Salman is working for Shakti Kapoor, who plays anindustrialist-cum-baddie, but doesn8217;t know that the other guy is a bad man. The scene being canned on the lush golf course has Arbaaz coming over to warn Shakti Kapoor. After checking out the focus, director Sohail hands over the club to Shakti asking him to hit towards the hole, marked a little distance away with a flag. The shot is canned and cleared. While preparing for the next shot, Shakti, with his hair streaked reddish-orange in patches, reveals that he is quite happy to play a baddie for a change after doing a series of comic roles. quot;The movie is very interesting as Salman is killed and returns as a ghost,quot; he says, unwittingly revealing the film8217;s big secret. Later, Sohail disagrees, quot;People have this impression because I once said that I would like to create a character like Casper. There is no ghost in the movie.quot; But he admits that Salman is shown having quot;supernaturalquot; powers at a certain point.

Back to the shoot, an extra acting as Shakti8217;s aide, is made to lie on the wet, muddy ground. quot;He ispunished for not informing me that there8217;s a new inspector in town. And I smash his face with the club,quot; says Shakti. The man lying on the ground holds the ball in his mouth, while Shakti is standing over him poised to hit the ball. quot;Hilna mat, hilna mat8230; haan,quot; says Shakti, swinging the club forcefully as he pretends to hit the ball, carefully moving the club well away from the man8217;s face. In two takes the shot is okayed.

Without wasting any time Sohail prepares for the next shot, where Arbaaz is supposed to walk in, and prevent the ball from hitting the hole. quot;Bhai, chal na bhai,quot; is how this director calls out to hero, Salman, who is lounging around. All this brotherly banter also helped them choose the title for their home production, reveals Sohail. quot;Every time Salman meets Arbaaz he says, quot;Hellooo, brotherrquot;. So I thought why not use this?quot; says Sohail.Back to the shot, as Arbaaz walks in, Salman squats on the grass throwing the ball towards the hole which is supposed to be hit by Shakti. Unhappywith the slow movement of the ball, Sohail, who8217;s watching the monitor yells, quot;What8217;s happening? Why is it so slow?quot; To which Salman replies in a pacifying tone, quot;Kya hua? Fast chahiye? Okay.quot; And accordingly throws it faster, as Arbaaz strides in, picking it up halfway and throwing it in the air. quot;It8217;s much more comfortable working with family. There are no inhibitions,quot; grins Sohail. Which is proved by the fact that once again the shot is canned in just two takes.
